A badge that links to the evidence
A trust badge is only worth the report behind it. The huby badge displays the score your product earned under a published framework and links straight to the evaluation that produced it - every category, every factor and the sources we used. Buyers can check it in one click, which is the only reason a badge changes a decision.
What the badge shows
Two variants, for light and dark surfaces. Both carry the hexagon mark, the overall score on the 1.0-5.0 scale, and a label naming what was evaluated. Category-level badges carry the category name instead of the overall label, for products that want to lead with their strongest dimension.

How a product earns one
- 1
Submit the product
Through the evaluation intake. You tell us what the product does, who it is for, and which access tier we should evaluate.
- 2
Evaluation runs
Against the framework for your category - the same tests applied to every other product in the cohort, with every factor traced to a source.
- 3
You review before publication
You see the report and can correct factual errors and point us at evidence we missed. You cannot change a score by disagreeing with it.
- 4
Report publishes, badge issues
The evaluation goes live at its own URL and the badge is issued pointing at it. There is no badge without a published report.
Where to place it
The badge earns its keep at the moments a buyer is deciding whether to trust you: the pricing page, the security or trust page, the footer, and the enterprise section of a sales deck. It does less work in a hero, where visitors have not yet formed the question it answers.
Placing it next to the claim it substantiates beats placing it on its own. A security score sitting beside your security copy is read as evidence; the same badge in a row of logos is read as decoration.
Rules for use
The badge always links to the report
A badge that is not a live link to the evaluation is not a huby badge. The link is the whole mechanism - it is what separates this from a logo a company awards itself.
The score shown is the current score
Badges read the published score rather than a number baked in at issue time, so a re-evaluation updates the badge wherever it is embedded.
No editing the mark
Do not recolour it, crop it, change the proportions, or place it on a background that fails contrast against the variant you chose. Use the light badge on light surfaces and the dark badge on dark.
Clear space and minimum size
Leave clear space equal to the height of the hexagon mark on all four sides, and do not render the badge below 160px wide - under that the score stops being legible on a phone.
No implied endorsement
The badge states that a product was independently evaluated and what it scored. It is not a certification, a partnership, or an endorsement, and may not be presented as any of those.
Badge use is also covered by the terms of service.
Get your product evaluated
Submit your product and the evaluation produces the report the badge points at. Have a look at what a finished report contains first if you want to know what you are signing up for.
